Consider This

The Lord always gives warnings before He administers judgments in the attempt to get us to turn from the path we’re on and back to Him; so His judgments are a last resort. But, at the same time, His judgments upon His people are not for destruction and devastation, but, rather, for cleansing and purification. What we have to realize, then, is that Jesus came originally as the Savior, but He’ll be returning as the Judge and King. Consequently, if we choose to shirk obedience because we choose to use grace as an excuse instead of as the Lord intended, then we can ultimately expect judgment.
