How would you respond if the pastor or one of the elders of your church told you that he or she really didn’t believe that God heard us, nor even cared to have much to do with us? I’m pretty sure it would come as somewhat of a shock. Yet that isn’t so far-fetched as it sounds. There are quite a number of so-called leaders who have created a facade to mask their lack of spirituality and belief. Consequently, before God can have a glorious church without spot or wrinkle He needs to remove the rebellious from the midst of the faithful. Only then will He be able to unify and purify His people.
